Training is open to anyone who utilizes the NAMI East Corner Clubhouse, but is focused on current and potential residents of ILA Homes. We are focused on meeting you where you are. QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Gatekeeper Training for Suicide Prevention is a 1.5-hour training designed to teach lay and professional “gatekeepers” the warning signs of suicide crisis and how to respond. Gatekeepers can include anyone who is strategically positioned to recognize and refer someone who is at-risk of suicide to resources.
